Audiopium is a sonic house party and social experiment rolled into one—where confidence, comedy, critique, and Colorado smoke sessions collide. Boonie Mayfield and his close circle of collaborators deliver a soundtrack that’s equal parts rebellious, self-aware, and unapologetically fun. Across the album, they work-life culture with satirical edge (@Work), clown outdated traditions (Olniguz Nooniguz), and flip through personal highs and indulgent escapes (So High Can’t Sit Down, Better Go Tell Somebody). Beneath the humor and party energy, the album critiques superficiality and the lingering generational divides in hip-hop and culture. This project is about having a good time, reclaiming joy and identity on your own terms, even while navigating the contradictions of modern life. Audiopium captures a moment when freedom meant living loud, laughing hard, and pushing against every box people try to put artists in.
